The annual Carbon High Powder Puff games was held Wednesday afternoon at the Carbon High football field. This event was part of the school’s homecoming festivities.
The freshman and sophomore team played the junior team first. The juniors had a powerful running back, Kelsey Sorenson, who ran the ball for two touchdowns to power the juniors to a 12-0 win, allowing the team to play the reigning champions, the seniors.
Both teams struggled in the first half with neither scoring. During the second half, the seniors where able to convert two touchdowns by Makayla Lupo and Jessica Jensen, ending in a score of 14-0.
The seniors are now back to back champions and hold the record for most wins.
