Shakespeare’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor” was recently presented by the Emery High Theatre Department. This was an edited version and was performed in the little theatre of the Spartan Center on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Director and drama teacher Neal Peacock was assisted by Ethan Anderson as assistant director.
Several students from Emery High had acting roles but leading the cast were Jonathan Seely, Ethan Anderson, Kayleigh McCandless and MaKensie Durrant.
During intermission and following the performances, English toffee, shortbread and drinks were sold as a fundraiser for the drama department as they are no longer funded by the district or high school and must provide their own funding.
