The North Springs Shooting Range hosted the Single Action Shooting Society State Championships on Friday and Saturday.
The Society is an international organization that promotes the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting.
Participants are required to dress as characters resembling late 19th century cowboys while wielding single action revolvers, pistol caliber lever action rifles, and old-time shotguns.
Six different posses composed of 110 total shooters competed.
This marked the third year the North Springs range hosted the event.
