Fair goers wrapped up the festivities of the Emery County Fair with an annual free concert on Saturday night. Those in attendance enjoyed an evening of musical performances from Maddie Wilson, Charley Jenkins and American Young.

Utah native Wilson opened the evening singing country pop songs that she wrote along with remixes of popular favorites. After her performance, she welcomed the audience to meet her, signed autographs and sold CDs.

Jenkins, originally from Roosevelt, next took the stage and delighted the crowd with his country music. His band featured two sisters, ages 17 and 18, also from Utah. The duo wowed the crowd on the guitar and violin.

Finally, the crowd welcomed American Young with new country duo Kristy Osmunson and Jon Stone. Stone is a popular songwriter, writing songs for artists such as Rascal Flatts, Lee Brice, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton.

Also at the event, the Emery County royalty sold concessions to raise funds for various upcoming activities.

The concert was made possible by Emery County Recreation, Rhino Mine, Emery Telcom, Rocky Mountain Power, Desertview Credit Union and Tony Basso GM.
