The North Summit Braves upended the Carbon Lady Dinos over the Christmas break, 56-46, dropping Carbon’s record to 8-4.
A slow first quarter, in which North Summit outscored the Dinos 20-12, placed the visiting team into a hole from which it couldn’t climb out.
Abbie Saccomanno led Carbon with 14 points. Kelsey Sorenson and Jodi Noyes each chipped in 10 points apiece. Sorenson also grabbed eight boards and had three steals in the game.
Carbon (8-4, 2-1 Region 14) will host Maeser Prep (2-7, 0-2 Region 14) on Thursday. The game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m.
