The Pinnacle Panthers hosted Monument Valley for a matchup on Saturday. A slow start doomed Pinnacle as they fell, 62-53.
Monument Valley burst out in the first, outscoring the Panthers 21-5. The Panthers stepped up in the second, going into the half 29-20. Momentum kept Pinnacle going but the team was unable to dig themselves out of the hole, dropping the game.
Noah Mascarenas led the Panthers with 19 points, including four buckets from behind the arc. Isaiah Matinez was next for Pinnacle with 12.
The team will host Grand on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game can be watched live on ETV Channel 10.
