Helper City’s Main Street is filled with small businesses such as galleries, eateries, children’s stores and the like. The majority of the businesses have come together to present Small Business Saturday.
Lita Riley of Canvas Alchemy is the brainchild of the newest Helper City event. Riley approached businesses that she knew would already be open on Saturdays. Each business and gallery will have a different special, sale or fun event.
Businesses such as Three Little Llamas, Canvas Alchemy, The Kid’s Station, Kathleen Royster Ceramics, Clear Creek Adventures and many more will have their doors wide open with surprises for shoppers.
The event will be open to all and individuals and families are encouraged to bring their dogs, strollers, wagons and the like. The Small Business Saturday information is presented on the Historic Helper Utah Facebook page, where community members are encouraged to visit to learn more.
The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, April 21 from 12-3 p.m. The subsequent events will be hosted once monthly on the third weekend of the month. Be sure to attend the event and get a taste of all that Helper City has to offer.
