Chad Snyder appeared in Seventh District Court on Wednesday for charges of first-degree felony attempted murder and two charges of third-degree felony use of a firearm by a restricted person.

Snyder, who chose to wave a preliminary hearing, pled not-guilty to all charges and will appear in district court for arraignment.

The Emery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at Snyder’s home in Huntington on June 29. Upon arrival deputies found Misty Snyder, Chad’s wife, suffered from a single gunshot wound. Snyder was taken into custody at the scene.
