ATV Rodeo
Castle Valley Small Engine will be hosting the ATV Rodeo in the fairgrounds arena Friday, August 3rd at 7pm. Participants who sign up in the Motorcycle, ATV or UTV classes will race in 3 timed events. Barrel Racing. Cone Bending (Slalom), and a flag race. Over $1,000 in prizes will be given. Pickleball Tournament
Pickleball, the fastest growing new sport today!! Come and join us at the tournament! Sign up your team of two, whether you have ever played or not, we want you! The pool play will begin Thursday, Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. at the Emery High School tennis courts. Play will continue Friday and the championship game will be Saturday, Aug. 4 at 5:30 p.m. Champions will receive their own pickleball net and paddle sets. Mud Volleyball
Lets Get Dirty!!!!
The Emery County Fair mud volleyball will be Wednesday, Aug. 1. It will begin at 7 p.m. You will find this located between the ball field and the indoor arena in Castle Dale. This is not a team event. It will be first come, first serve for space. If there are quite of few players, we will give a time limit as to how long you can be in the mud. We will try to accommodate everyone who comes. Come on out and let’s have some fun in the mud. A treat will be given to all participants.
Horseshoe Tournament
The Emery County Fair horseshoe tournament will take place on Saturday, Aug 4. Registration will be at 12:30 p.m. by the pits in Castle Dale. The tournament will start at 1 p.m. The cost is $20 per team.
Breakfast in the Park
The Emery County Fair will host breakfast in the park on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The breakfast will take place at the Castle Dale City Park for only $2 per person. Will feed the first 500 people.
Magician Martin Brock
Magician Martin Brock will entertain at this year’s Emery County Fair. He will perform on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 1 p.m. Martin Brock is a magician and comedian originally from Denmark. He is known for his original illusions, innovative tricks and sarcastic sense of humor. Brock has performed in theaters, on luxury cruise ships and in various comedy clubs.
Children’s Games
Following the Emery County Fair parade on Saturday, Aug. 4, children’s games will take place on the grass new the visitor’s center in Castle Dale. The following games will be available:
