Soroptimist International of Price is holding its 43rd annual charity ball on Friday, November 20.
The event runs from 7-9 p.m. at the Carbon Country Club. Tickets at $35 each and includes a prime rib dinner and sampling of beverages. 100% of all funds are used to help local charities that improve the lives of women and girls. The Soroptimist also awards up to three grants each year to help women heads of household return to college or training programs in order to improve themselves and their families. Past projects include working with Active Re-Entry and its cancer program, the local Colleen Quigley Women’s Shelter and the sponsoring of female athletes for the costs of them being in a sports program.
