The Emery Spartans hosted South Sevier for a matchup on Thursday. The visiting team made a comeback in the fourth, handing Emery its second loss in region play, 50-44.
The Spartans had the advantage going into the half, 22-20. A solid third quarter saw both teams shoot 16 points apiece, giving the Spartans a two-point advantaged going into the final quarter.
A rally from South Sevier in the fourth doomed the Spartans as the Rams outscored them 14-6. The loss bumps Emery to 6-2 in region play.
Emily Olsen led the Spartans offense with 15 points and six assists. Camry Johnson chipped in 10 on the night.
Emery will travel to take on Grand on Tuesday before wrapping up region play at home against Wasatch Academy.
