Academy Mill Reservoir
Closed
Roads out of Joes Valley may be muddy or inaccessible for highway vehicles. Seasonal closures may also be in effect. (06-09-17)
Boulger Reservoir
Fair
The reservoir is now accessible. To catch trout here, try using worms or jigs and other traditional lures. (06-09-17)
Carbon County Community Fishing Pond
Good
Good fishing for trout using PowerBait, or worms tipped with salmon eggs. (06-09-17)
Cleveland Reservoir
Good
Anglers report good fishing using crystal buggers, bead head olive leeches and other fly tackle. Traditional trout lures are also working. Please be aware, however, that access to roads and campgrounds along Skyline Drive is limited due to snow and mud. (06-09-17)
Duck Fork Reservoir
Closed
The road to the reservoir was still closed on June 6. The gate will likely open soon. Check with the Manti-La Sal National Forest for road updates. (06-09-17)
Electric Lake
Fair
Water levels are high at Electric Lake and other waters along Skyline Drive. Try using pop gear for kokanee salmon and traditional lures for trout. (06-09-17)
Fairview Lakes
Closed
Roads off of Skyline Drive to the lakes and other waters may be muddy or inaccessible for highway vehicles. (06-09-17)
Ferron Reservoir
Fair
The reservoir is now open and accessible. However, many of the campgrounds are still covered with snow. Check with the Manti-La Sal National Forest for road and campground updates. (06-09-17)
Gigliotti Pond
Good
Anglers are catching trout using worms. PowerBait and salmon eggs have also worked well. The pond was stocked with 1,500 rainbow trout on May 9. (06-09-17)
Gooseberry Reservoir
Fair
The ice is off the reservoir. To catch trout, try using worms, jigs or spinners. (06-09-17)
Grassy Lake
Fair
The lake is now open and accessible. To catch trout here, try using worms, jigs or spinners. (06-09-17)
Huntington Game Farm Pond
Good
The pond was stocked in late March, and fishing has been good for trout and bluegill. Try using PowerBait for trout. Small worms and flies have worked well for bluegill. (06-09-17)
Huntington North Reservoir
Fair
The reservoir was stocked on March 28 with about 2,000 rainbow trout. To catch the rainbows, try using night crawlers. For larger trout and wipers, spoons or spinner lures may work well. Fishing with flies has been slow. (06-09-17)
Huntington Reservoir

The reservoir is now open. Lots of tiger trout were found during recent gill net surveys. Some of these trout appear to be eating worms off the bottom, so small night crawlers might work well. (06-09-17)
Joes Valley Reservoir
Fair
Try using 1/4-ounce jig heads, with white plastic tubes or chub meat, to catch cutthroat trout, tiger trout and splake. As chubs move into the shallows to spawn, chub meat will become an especially effective bait for these large predatory fish. (06-09-17)
Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond
Good
Worms or PowerBait are the best baits to use to catch rainbow trout at the pond. (06-09-17)
Millsite Reservoir & State Park
Slow
Fishing has been slow to fair. Try using worms, spinners or beadhead buggers to catch trout here. (06-09-17)
Petes Hole
Fair
Petes Hole is now open and accessible. To catch trout, try using worms or jigs, spinners and other traditional lures. (06-09-17)
Potters Ponds
Closed
The road to the ponds was still closed on June 6. The gate will likely open soon. (06-09-17)
Scofield Reservoir
Good
The water level at the reservoir is high. Some anglers have even seen fish spilling over the top of the dam. The chubs have started spawning, and anglers are having success catching them on the western shore using worms and PowerBait. Once caught, the chubs can be killed and used for bait. Scofield was stocked with more than 12,000 catchable cutthroat trout on April 20. Try using chub meat or spinners to catch the recently stocked fish and larger cutthroat trout that are also in the reservoir. (06-09-17)
Soup Bowl

Willow Lake

The lake is now open and accessible, but roads may be muddy or otherwise hazardous. Use caution when traveling up Ferron Canyon. (06-09-17)
Wrigley Springs Reservoir

The ice is off and the road to the reservoir is passable. To catch trout here, try using jigs, spinners and other traditional lures. (06-09-17)
