The Southeast Utah Health Department hosted the Kick Ash 5 and 10k walk/run on Saturday.
The health department was able to host the event using money acquired by the Tobacco Abuse Prevention Fund. The SUHD estimated 550 people participated in the event that took place in part along the newly-constructed Price River Trail.
Registration closed a week before the event due to a full docket. Traffic was directed by the Price City Police Department ensuring safety for all participants. Medals were given to top runners.
