Abajo Mountains –Closed

Many waters on the Abajo Mountains are either inaccessible by highway vehicles or covered with unstable ice. (12-15-17)

Academy Mill Reservoir – Closed

Academy Mill Reservoir and other waters on the South Manti are currently inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Benches Pond – Unstable ice

Benches Pond and many other waters on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Boulger Reservoir – Unstable ice

Boulger Reservoir and many others on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Carbon County Community Fishing Pond – Closed

This water body is closed for the winter. (12-15-17)

Cleveland Reservoir – Unstable ice

Cleveland Reservoir and many others on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice. (12-15-17)

Duck Fork Reservoir – Closed

Access to Duck Fork Reservoir and others on the South Manti may be limited due to snow, ice and mud. (12-15-17)

Fairview Lakes – Unstable ice

Fairview Lakes and others on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Ferron Creek – Closed

Ferron Creek and other waters on the South Manti are currently inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Ferron Reservoir – Closed

Ferron Reservoir and others on the South Manti are covered with unstable ice and inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Gigliotti Pond – Unstable ice

The ice at Gigliotti Pond is still somewhat unstable. Use caution when fishing here. (12-15-17)

Gooseberry Reservoir – Unstable ice

Gooseberry Reservoir and others on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Grassy Lake – Closed

Grassy Lake and other waters on the South Manti are currently inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Huntington Game Farm Pond – Unstable ice

The Huntington Game Farm has started icing up and will likely be too unstable for ice fishing for the next few weeks. (12-15-17)

Huntington North Reservoir – Slow

Fishing has been slow at Huntington North Reservoir, especially with fly tackle. (12-15-17)

Huntington Reservoir – Unstable ice

Huntington Reservoir and others on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Joes Valley Reservoir – Fair

Fishing has been slow to fair at Joes Valley Reservoir. Anglers have had luck catching splake and cutthroat trout between 12 and 20 inches using a size 4 bead-head black and silver crystal bugger on a medium-sinking line. For catching larger trout and tiger muskie, you should also try using Rapalas, spoons and traditional spinner lures. (12-15-17)

Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond – Closed

Access to the Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond is closed until March 1. (12-15-17)

La Sal Mountains – Closed

Many waters on the La Sal Mountains are either inaccessible to highway vehicles or covered with unstable ice. (12-15-17)

Lower Fish Creek – Good

Anglers have had good success catching trout and chubs using green soft hackle flies and panther martin spinners. (12-15-17)

Miller Flat Reservoir – Unstable ice

Miller Flat Reservoir and others on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Petes Hole – Unstable ice

Petes Hole and other waters on the South Manti are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Potters Ponds – Unstable ice

Potters Ponds and other waters on the Manti skyline are covered with unstable ice and possibly inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Price River – Slow

Much of the Price River through Price Canyon has frozen over, making fishing impossible in many areas. (12-15-17)

Scofield Reservoir – Good

Anglers have been ice fishing in parts of the dam cove where the ice is over four inches thick. Be cautious, though, as not all areas have stable ice. Anglers have had success catching rainbow and cutthroat trout using white jigs tipped with chub meat. (12-15-17)

Soup Bowl – Closed

Soup Bowl and other waters on the South Manti are currently inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Willow Lake – Closed

Willow Lake and other waters on the South Manti are currently inaccessible to highway vehicles. (12-15-17)

Wrigley Springs Reservoir – Closed
