Southeastern Utah Weekly UDOT Construction Update

Construction projects in Southeastern Utah are both wrapping up and gaining momentum this week.

Nielson Construction is in the midst of three projects, with the project on Highway 6 from milepost 272 to Woodside is in its final stages. This week crews are finishing paving, grinding rumblestrips, painting and installing signs.

Nielson’s nighttime project on State Road 10 South of Price is picking up strea, with work continuing on intersection improvements at Ridge Road. The third project is starting on Interstate 70 from Wide Hollow to Fremont Junction. The company is rotomilling and motorists should expect single lane closures in each direction.
