Southeastern Utah Weekly UDOT Construction Update


Microsurfacing begins this week on Highway 6 near Helper, and Ferron and Castle Dale Main Streets on State Road 10. The projects should cause minimal delays. For a summary of all of the Utah Department of Transportation construction projects in the area this week, refer to the following:

Location: South of Price
Impact: * Single lane traffic during evening hours * Evening work near residential area
Activity: * Paving south of River Road and working north

Emery County

S.R. 10, Huntington Main Street

Location: Huntington Main Street
Impact: * Access modifications * Lane closure
Activity: * Construction of pedestrian sidewalk ramps on corners * Milling road surface * Soft spot repairs

Sevier County

I-70, Wide Hollow To Fremont Junction

Amount: $4,534,747
Location: Salina Canyon, Mileposts 83 to 89
Impact: * Single lane closure in each direction * No delays expected
