I-15 Summit to Paragonah; Lunt Park Rest Area

Tuesday, July 31 – Friday, August 3 Crews will begin paving from MP 78 to MP 73.5 on Northbound I-15 in the slow lane. Upon completion crews will switch to the slow lane on Southbound I-15 and complete this section by the end of the week.

Tuesday, July 31 – Friday, August 3 Pothole patching will begin on the bridge decks at MP 76.75. The patching will be completed by mid-week and crews will lay new asphalt on the bridge decks.

Lunt Park Rest Area

The rest areas will remain open during construction.

Monday, July 30 – Friday, August 3 Crews will continue to excavate and haul in fill material to the truck parking areas on both Northbound and Southbound rest areas. Watch for construction equipment in the area and obey all traffic and speed limit signs.

SR-59 Apple Valley

Monday, July 30 – Friday, August 3 Work is suspended on the project pending approval of sign and post certifications. Upon approval the final phase of the project will begin with limited traffic interruption.

I-70, U.S. 191 & S.R. 10 Construction Projects

I-70; Milepost 7 – 18 in Clear Creek Canyon,

Monday, July 30 – Friday, August 3 В Westbound slow lane MP 17-12, road base placement at the reconstruct sections will be finished on Tuesday. Rubblization will begin in this phase on Monday and will continue through the week. В Crews will perform pothole patching on the bridge decks in this area at the beginning of the week.

Paving operations will continue in phase two Eastbound fast lane MP 7 to 12. В Crews will be finished paving the second lift by mid-week. Once the paving in phase two is finished, the fast lane will open to traffic and the slow lane will be closed MP 7 to 12. Paving crews will continue to pave the 2nd lift of asphalt in phase three Eastbound fast Lane MP 7 to 12. В Paving will continue through the weekend.

Roadway crews will work to place road base on the shoulders in phase 5 Eastbound fast Lane MP 7 to 12 by the end of the week.

Traffic is narrowed down to one lane in both directions. Crews will work 6 – 7 days a week during daylight hours.

I-70; Fremont Junction to Salt Wash, This project has entered into the final phase. Crews will be in the area striping and completing final punch list items.

I-70; Salt Wash to Moore Interchange, В Crews continue to mill, pave and perform shoulder work. Construction on the project will continue for another 11 weeks. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction for current construction areas of the project. Motorists should expect delays.

I-70 East Cisco to West Cisco

Crews will mill and pave the on/off ramps and mainline I-70 within the project limits. Mainline milling has begun with traffic shifted to the fast lane only.

Please reduce speed and use caution as lanes are narrow and construction equipment is present.

Blue Hill to Moab,

This project involves placement of 4″ of new asphalt paving. Paving operations are underway. Construction has moved to the northern limits of the project. Lanes are still shifted and narrowed. Caution is advised. Lane restrictions are in place.Plan ahead. Allow extra time to reach your destination.

I-70; Westwater to Colorado State Line

Pavement and Bridge Rehabilitation on I-70 from MP 221 to the Colorado State Line is underway. Work includes milling and paving on/off ramps and mainline I-70 and conducting maintenance work on the bridge structures in the project limits.

At least one travel lane will be open at all times. В Wide loads are restricted to 12′.

Please reduce speed and use caution as lanes are narrow and construction equipment is present through August.

Special Note to Colorado-bound motorists:

Motorists entering Colorado should be aware that the Colorado Department of Transportation is conducting a similar pavement rehabilitation project immediately across the state line. Please plan for slowing traffic and lane shifts in Colorado as well.

SR-10; Ferron to Rock Creek, Various construction activities throughout the summer. В Travel lanes will be impacted. Motorists should expect delays.
