Six Emery High School golfers participated in the first round of the 2011 2A Boys Golf High School State Championship tournament at Palisade State Park Golf Club on Monday.
Emery’s participants included (score in parentheses): McKoy Allred (85), Mcklane Allred (92), Hunter Huntington (96), Kalen Loftley (99), Jordan Fuller (98) and Brandon Oliver (106).
Emery finished Day One in 11th place with a 371 score. Beaver lead the competition with a 310 score.
Millard’s Nicklaus Britt and Beaver’s Braxton Williams share the individual lead at 72.
The tournament concludes Tuesday.
