Winning every varsity match, the Spartan wrestling squad gave up only 18 points for the three matches that they have no weight qualifying wrestlers against Manti this week.
The final score was 5 18 and the JV wrestlers scored almost as well, losing only 2 matches. This is a confidence boost for the Emery team as they head to the huge competition of the Rocky Mountain Rumble at UVU this weekend.
Many of the Spartan squad are ranked in the top ten statewide as they approach regionals in two weeks with the state competition to follow.
