Spartans Conclude Regular Season, Prepare for State Tourney

The Emery Spartan golfers finished their Region 15 season Wednesday at the Carbon Country Club. Although the team struggled while coming in last place, the team still holds on to third place overall in the region standings.

“Emery finished in third place overall in the region and will be able to take the whole team to the state tourney,” coach Kevin Reynolds said.

Kyler Farley had the lowest round of the day for Emery with a 96. Race Nielson carded at 99 and Oakley Toomer hit 100. McKoy Holt (103), Shaidyn Killpack (103) and Deryk Fuller also participated in the tournament.
