It didn’t take long for the Emery Spartans to impose their will on the North Sevier Wolves Friday night in Salina, winning the Region 15 contest going away, 80-58.
Koby Butler had 18 points, followed by Bowdie Jacobson with 16, including three treys. Zac Jorgensen also had three threes in the game, scoring a total of 15 points. Easton Gordon was the other Spartan in double figures with 11. Both Kyson Stilson and Kolton Butler chipped in seven apiece.
After two road wins to begin the Region 15 season, Emery (12-1, 2-0, #1 in 2A) will host two games next week, Wednesday against San Juan (10-3, 3-0 Region 15, #5 in 2A) and Friday versus Grand (9-4, 3-1 Region 15).
