Manti proved tough for the Spartans on the soccer field at a matchup on Tuesday. A huge offensive push by the Templars secured the loss for Emery, 4-0.
Manti connected with the net twice in each half while the Spartans were shut out of their offensive push.
The loss puts Emery at 2-4 in region play and 3-6 on the season.
Emery will have a week to prepare for its next game. The team will travel to take on Richfield on Tuesday, April 7. The team will return home to host North Sevier on April 9.
