The Emery High Spartans hosted Wasatch Academy for a region matchup on Tuesday. A goal for the Tigers in the first secured the win for the visiting team, 1-0.
Ikkyu Fuji knocked in the lone goal of the match for Wasatch Academy in the first half of play. The Spartans were unable to connect with the net, giving the Tigers a shutout to remain perfect on the season.
Next up, Emery will travel to take on North Sevier on Thursday. Each team has notched only one region win on the season.
