Emery’s Jaiden Huntington gave all the run support Whitney Roper needed Wednesday, as the Spartans downed the Delta Rabbits 6-1 in Castle Dale.
Huntington’s three-run home run in the first inning coupled with Roper’s dominance in the pitcher’s circle was all the Spartans needed for their second win in as many days.
Emery added two more runs in the third and one run in the fifth. Bryton Hess and Kaitlyn Thompson hit doubles for the Spartans.
Emery will travel to North Sanpete on Friday for a matchup with the Hawks.
