Castle Dale City was full of fun activities and food for special needs individuals and their families on Saturday.
Autumn Arrien and Lyndsey Torgerson planned a day of free swimming, a pit-roasted pork dinner and games with prizes for a large crowd. The activities were hosted by Castle Dale Fire Department, Castle Dale City Council and maintenance crew, and many volunteers. After swimming and eating, participants could choose either a fish pond, cake walk, bowling, corn hole bean bag or simply cool off with a snow cone.
These activities were free of charge thanks to the following sponsors: Maverick, Emery County Recreation, Danny VanWagoner, Castle Dale City, Castle Fire Department, Emery County Aquatic Center, Emery County Travel Bureau, Emery County Chamber of Commerce, The Dorschs, and private sponsor Mascot Miracle.
