The annual speed stacking competition took place once again in March at Castle Dale Elementary School. While competition was speedy, there were three contenders that came out on top.
Landing the first place spot was third grade student Hailee Barnett with a time of 11.676. Barnett also broke the school record for the third grade. The old title-holder for the record was Barnett’s own sister, Beka, who had a time of 12.77. The previous title was set in 2014.
Second place was awarded to fifth grade student Allison Johansen, who finished with a time of 11.810. Rounding out the top spots was fourth grade student Damon Farley, who ended with a time of 12.707.
