The Spinners competed at State SUTA Tumbling and Tramp competition held on Saturday in Fillmore. Ella Seely won all-around high point in the level six and under division and Aubry Ward won all-around high point in level seven and above. Seventeen of the 25 participants qualified for the all-around.
The Studio Gym Spinners teams from LaRae’s Dance Studio Gym won first place, level seven tramp; second place, double-mini tramp; level six and third place level five floor. The team brought home 21 first place trophies, 12 second place and many individual trophies.
Participants at the competition included Ambree Ungerman, Lizzy Roberts, Allie Shannon, Lisa Shannon, Chloe Wagner, Jewels Birk, Ella Seely, Emma Shannon, Kaitlyn Thomas, Shaela World, Alexis Ungerman, Brooklun Ekker, EmJae Adair, Lillie Tuttle, Sophia Seely, Teah Lowrey, Alexia Mortensen, Alivia Christman, Daicee Ungerman, Kaylee Shannon, Hallie Win, Ally Sorensen, Aubry Ward and Cassidy Heaps.
The Spinners are now preparing for their spring show to be held Monday, May 19 at Huntington Elementary School.
