Mont Harmon Junior High School choirs performed their spring chorus concert for family and friends Thursday night.
The evening was filled with various song selections from familiar to foreign. The repertoire included Dodi Li, a Hebrew love song, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Sixteen Tons, Pretty Woman and Heart and Soul, among other familiar favorites.
Soloists for the concert were Whitnee Woodhouse, Mersedez Clifford, Brandon Tallerico, Chanel Richardson and Nollie Wilkinson, with Adriana Taylor on piano and Dallin Grant on drum set.
Steve Hoyt, director of choirs at Mont Harmon, concluded the evening by recognizing outstanding students with awards, as well as acknowledging the Girl’s Choir and the Concert Choir which received all superior marks from both judges at the Castle Valley Junior High Choir Festival in March.
Individual students who received awards were Sarah Clark, Adriana Taylor, Dallin Grant and Sadie Crompton.
