AJB Broadcasting proudly presented the 10th annual Home, Garden and Recreation Show over the weekend at the Carbon County Event Center.

This event had an astounding amount of activities, vendors, thousands of dollars in giveaways and more for members of the community to enjoy. The first 250 people in attendance each day received a swag bag and every person through the door received a ticket for the raffle.

The event offered an extra ticket for the giveaway to those that brought in five cans of food for the food bank or three tickets for a case. There were over 60 vendors indoors, outdoors and in the hallway, including IFA, Pampered Chef, Big O Tires, Crepe Expectations, CERT, Clean Tech and more.

The KUSA the Buzz Bee flitted around the parade on Saturday and event center. Those that obtained a photo with the bee were also submitted for the chance to win tickets to Lagoon. At the finale of the event, the ladies behind KUSA the Buzz were proud to display the sizable amount of food gathered from the community to donate to the Carbon County Food Bank.

Prizes in the giveaways included, but were not limited to, a 200 watt solar kit from Continuous Resources, a canvas oil painting from Superior Striping, a Camp Chef stove from Carbon Emery RV, alignments and oil changes at Big O Tires, a gas fire pit from A Johnson Heating and a 55 inch TV from Castleview Hospital.
