Absent major issues or business, Wednesday’s Emery County School Board meeting featured reports from San Rafael Junior High School.
SRJH Principal Garth Johnson recapped the schools 9/11 remembrance celebration, noting that a new generation of students learned much about the events of the tragic day.
Johnson also announced author Richard Paul Evans would visit SRJH on Nov. 17 to discuss his new book Michael Vey. Students from Canyon View Junior High School and the Emery High School writing and reading clubs would attend the discussion.
