Ascension St. Mathew’s Church at 522 Homestead Blvd. in Price hosted a fundraiser Friday and Saturday designed to generate revenue for the congregation’s outreach program.
The annual Fall Festival featured a bake sale, yard sale, soup luncheon and gift shop.
Pastor James Drury said the Fall Festival initially began in 1995, but had only been in its current form for four years. Drury said the event attracted approximately 200 patrons.
“We needed to let people know where we are,” said Ascension St. Mathew’s congregation member Pam Adams. “Whatever we get, it’s more than what we had.”
