Desert Thunder Raceway opened the 2018 racing season with a competition in Price over the weekend. The event featured local and visiting racers as vehicles took to the track.
The raceway’s first event of the season saw competition in a variety of classes, including IMCA modified, IMCA sports modified, IMCA stock car, hobby stocks and mini stocks.
Desert Thunder Raceway will see action again on April 27 and 28 as race organizers play host to competitors. Gates will open at 4 p.m. with races getting underway at 6 p.m.
