On Thursday, Pinnacle hosted Freedom Prep on the volleyball court.
The Lady Eagles won the first two sets, 25-16 and 25-18, respectively. The Lady Panthers avoided defeat in the third set with a 25-13 win but couldn’t pull off the forth set and fell 25-15 for the 3-1 loss.
Leading Pinnacle were Destinee Andrews with 10 kills, Daidee Martinez with three aces in nine serves, Steph Sasser with three blocks and five digs, and Angel Welch and Kemery Stuckenschneider with six assists.
These two teams will see each other again, this time in Provo, on Thursday, Sept. 5.
