Stuart LaFont Mortensen passed away on November 13, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Stuart will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ruthdale Walters, of 60 years and his 4 children and their spouses, Kevin (Elaine), Michele (Dan), Kurt (Denita) and Brent (Jennifer). Stuart will also be remembered by his 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Kendall and Lynn, and his sisters, Kaye and Lynee. Stuart was a math and science teacher at Tustin High School, scoutmaster, and bishop. He loved rock collecting, working in his backyard shop and tending to his roses and plumeria trees. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an inspiration to all and we will miss his great big bear hugs. He loved God and his family and served his fellowman as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. For information on his funeral service please email moehler@yahoo.com.
