For the second year in a row, Mrs. Madrid’s  Castle Heights fifth grade class opted to make quilts for the Children’s Justice Center instead of having a class Valentines Party. This year Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Behunin’s classes joined with them to  have an even bigger impact on the project.

Students, parents, teachers and Castle Heights Secretary, Wendy Cowley contributed enough fleece material to make 60 quilts. The students will spend the day measuring, cutting and tieing each square into a finished product.
