The Castle Valley Jr. High & Middle School Solo and Ensemble Festival was held on March 3 at Utah State University Eastern.
Solo and Ensemble is a musical festival for Middle School music students that are in band and choir. To qualify students must audition by learning and playing a song of their choice. Students can either perform solo or in a ensemble of two or more.
Awards were given for All-Around Musician Award, Outstanding Solos, Outstanding Ensembles and Honorable Mention Awards.
The All-Around Musician was Kadrianne Bird of Canyon View Jr. High who received superior rating in vocal, piano and instrumental.
