Summer smART with the Helper Art Workshops

Art workshops will be held throughout the summer for varying age groups as a part of the Helper Arts Festival.

Several art classes will be taught  throughout the summer by local artists and will focus on children, teen, and parent programs. One teaching artist will be Kate Kilpatrick-Miller, who is an intern with artist David Dornan and a former project engineer for Canon. Other artists teaching courses include Ben Steele, Tom Williams, and David Johnson.

The focus of the classes will highlight art techniques and the finished projects will be shown at the Helper Arts Festival in the fall. Costs for the programs are low due to donations of supplies and locations from the community.
