The East Carbon and Sunnyside community once again welcomed visitors, guests, locals, family and more to the annual and highly-anticipated Community Daze celebrations over the weekend.

As per tradition, the celebrations kicked off on Friday afternoon with the Miner’s Trading Post Parking Lot Party that benefits Bruin Point Elementary. Following, there was no shortage of events and activities for those that chose to attend.

A parade, car show, rodeo, booths, food and more were ready for those that flocked to the small town for family fun and excitement. This year’s grand marshal was Edna Robles Hunt, who has lived in the area since 1943, first moving to Dragerton.
