2016’s Sunnyside Rodeo Royalty

The Sunnyside 67th annual Rodeo will take place this year on July 7 and 8. There will also be a royalty contest on June 25 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Sunnyside arena.
The royalty consists of Queen, 1st Attendant and 2nd Attendant. This contest is for girls that are age 13 and older and attendants may compete until they make Queen.
Two princesses that are ages 12 and under may rein for two years as princess. They may then compete for Queens Court upon turning 13. The contestants age is their age the day of the contest.
Contestants must ride their horse to a given pattern, ride in the parade on Saturday, July 8 and move the cattle in the arena during the rodeo.
