Super Sudsy, the car wash located behind Smith’s in Price, is now operating at full capacity following a car accident in late October.

On October 27, a 38-year old female, traveling eastbound on 100 North, reportedly veered off the road and struck a power pole, snapping it, according to information from the Price City Police Department.

The vehicle continued to travel forward until hitting the final bay of the car wash on the driver’s side of the vehicle, causing damage to the bay’s foundation and wall as well. The vehicle, which was totaled, then came to rest inside the bay.

The accident also caused damage to the car wash’s electrical system, rendering the business’ vacuums, credit card machines and timers useless. Following efforts with Super Sudsy’s insurance company, the electrical problems have been resolved and the car wash is now running at full capacity.

Customers may once again enjoy all the Super Sudsy has to offer, including four washing bays and a $5 automatic wash. Vacuums are also available.

For more information or for questions, please call (435) 299-9489 or visit Super Sudsy on 100 North in Price. An attendant is on site Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers are able to use the self-serve car wash 24/7.
