On Tuesday afternoon around 5 p.m., an email was sent to USU Eastern students and staff stating to be on the lookout for two possibly armed females. According to the email, Price City Police Department and campus police were searching for the two females who were reported to be on the run from police. The email also advised to use caution and call dispatch immediately if located due to the pair possibly being armed.
Price City Police Captain William Barnes confirmed that the duo was located shortly following the email. Barnes also stated that a gun was recovered. However, it is unclear whether the weapon was located on their person or at another location.
Another email was sent out to the students and staff reporting that the situation was cleared.
