In her first teaching assignment, Alissa Blake finds herself in a new place and environment.
Her assignment at Book Cliff Elementary in Green River was definitely a new adventure for her. She is a native of Hinckley, Utah and attended public schools in Millard County.
She then graduated with a degree in elementary education with a math endorsement from Utah State University. Blake said she had no preference in teaching and stated that one of her biggest challenges has been to teach when not feeling very well.
