Citizens throughout the country have reportedly been receiving automated scam phone calls from phone numbers with the area code 302.
The area code originates out of Delaware and scam calls can come from a variety of phone numbers. Scams can range from the legal variety to requests from charity organizations.
So, how can you beat scammers? Remember these tips and apply them to all unsolicited telemarketing calls:
- Never provide personal information to an unknown caller.
