The Spartans’ fourth game of the season ended in a 2-1 defeat for the Black and Gold at the hands of the Manti Templars after Thursday’s away game.
Emery managed to find the net in the first half thanks to Juan Caicedo, tying the action up 1-1 entering into the second. The Spartan defense, though, let one slip through in the second to give Manti the overall win.
The Spartans will continue their action on Tuesday as the team hosts Grand. Action is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
