TGIF in the Park on Friday evening featured a new activity: battleship canoes at the Desert Wave Pool.
The evening was full of canoe-goers trying to sink one another’s vessels with buckets of water.
There were other activities that took place with the canoes such as racing, besides sinking them. There were four canoes for the teenagers to battle each other with.
The canoes were provided by Carbon County Recreation. There were approximately 50 in attendance for this friendly event. Also available was the Wibit in the indoor pool.
Next week’s activities include bubble balls, night disc golf, a Pokemon GO tournament and laser tag.
