After experiencing the need for a youth clothing option in the area, the Hoffman family decided to address the issues themselves. Thus, The Kid’s Station in Helper was born.
Situated on Helper’s Historic Main Street, The Kid’s Station is spearheaded by Ashley and Jake Hoffman. The new store features clothing for girls and boys, ranging from newborn to size 16. The Hoffmans buy wholesale clothing in order to keep costs low and provide variety.
“Clothes are so expensive,” Ashley said. “So the cheaper we can keep it the better for everyone.”
The Hoffmans are working to keep inventory updated and are constantly welcoming new arrivals to the store. Items are available for all seasons from summer dresses to winter coats and even formal pieces for weddings.
“We hope to be here for a long time,” Ashley said.
Members of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and the community welcomed the Hoffmans and their business venture with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday afternoon. Throughout the day, customers enjoyed a grand opening special of 10% off all purchases.
Customers can find The Kid’s Station at 202 Main Street in Helper, next to The Toy Store & More. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
