The PAWS Pups Make Their Way Around Castle Country Care Centers

While many were busy celebrating Earth Day, the four-legged members of the PAWS Program were joined by their human companions on Monday afternoon as they visited Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The reason behind this visit was to bring cheer to the residents and assist them in welcoming the spring season and warmer weather.

Active Re-Entry Director Nancy Bentley, founder of the PAWS Program, stated that the money used during these visits comes largely from the Pet Photos With Santa event hosted each December. Monetary donations are also used.

The furry members were accompanied by an array of pastel colored carnation flowers that were given to each resident of Pinnacle as well. The PAWS pups will be visiting each nursing home and rehabilitation or care center in Carbon and Emery counties.
