Thursday’s Centennial Culture Connection Performance was initially planned for the Price Peace Gardens, then moved inside because of stormy weather, and finally moved back outside when the sun came out, providing nearly perfect weather for the performance by local entertainer, Jennifer Lopez.
Despite the earlier rainy weather, and the rapidly changing location, Lopez sang to a crowd of nearly 100, treating the locals to “Love Will Keep Us Together”, “Candle on the Water”, “Girl’s Night Out”, “Let’s Get Loud”, and more.
Lopez has become a regular Culture Connection performer, and is a local favorite. “Jennifer has sung for audiences for years and years,” said Price City Councilmember Kathy Hanna-Smith. “She is just a hometown favorite.”
Next week’s culture connection will feature local group “Music of the Heart”. The performances are held each Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Price Peace Gardens.
