A three-car accident involving two vans and one passenger vehicle occurred a little before 11 a.m. Friday on 700 East and Main Street.

A woman driving the passenger vehicle was sent to Castleview Hospital with minor injuries.

The lead van was pulling into a parking lot when the passenger vehicle, which was following too closely,В collidedВ with the van. The white van in the rear then slammed into the passenger vehicle causing major damage to the rear and to the front of the van.

“It’s sad, but this car will probably be totaled,” said Price City Fire Chief Paul Bedont. Fire officials were called to the scene for cleanup of hazardous fluids which leaked from the white van.

Price City Police Officer Robert Walker said the passenger vehicle and the second van were at fault.

The accident was cleared by 11:20 a.m.
