Three Carbon Dinos that were a part of the boys’ golf team for the 2017-18 school year were recently informed that they were chosen for the UHSAA 3A Academic All-State Golf Team.
In a letter that was given to each of the players chosen, they were told that the award is symbolic of the sacrifices which they have all made.
The three players that were given this honor are Ryan Gagon, Zade Carrillo and Ryker Smith, all seniors at Carbon High this year. The trio will round out their high school golf careers at the state golf competition on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
